Every nation, every language, every human being throughout history will be judged and either included or excluded from this ceremony. There will be no neutral ground in that moment. Those readied will join the marriage supper and those who are not will be excluded and removed. Make no mistake about it, this is what the maranatha cry is unto-a wedding. This is why His House will be marked by His Presence in the last days of human history. A glorious outpouring of the Holy Spirit will prepare mankind for the appointed date. The Father of glory is sending the Holy Spirit to the earth with this date in mind. The maranatha cry is the most strategic and simple way to communicate this coming reality. The God who came is coming back. The maranatha message will fuel evangelism, the great commission, endurance in trial, and perspective - it is the "blessed hope" of the church. We must tether our hearts to this reality in order to sustain our faith in the days ahead. When the Son of Man returns, He will look for faith on the earth (Luke 18:8). This faith will exist in one of the most tumultuous hours the earth has ever known. Injustice will be rampant. Deception will be rampant. Persecution will come to those who stand in His truth and under His word. Yet, the maranatha cry is the anthem for the end times church awaiting His return.
